Delivery Policy
By scheduling delivery with River Oak, you agree to the terms below:
You will have the option to choose your preferred delivery service at check out
Curbside Delivery
With our Curbside Delivery option, we will deliver your couch to your curb, driveway, or garage.
We do not bring the item inside your home with this service.
Once delivered, it will be your responsibility to move the couch into your space.
Plea
In Home Delivery (1 Crew Member)
With our In-Home Delivery (1 Person) option, one member of our crew will bring the couch inside your home and help place it in your desired room.
Because only one team member is provided, the customer must have at least one capable adult present to assist with carrying and positioning the couch. By selecting this option, you agree that someone will be available at the time of delivery to safely help move the furniture.
For safety and liability reasons:
- The assisting person must be physically able to help carry the item.
- Pathways, hallways, staircases, and entry points must be clear prior to arrival.
- We are not responsible for damage due to tight spaces, improper measurements, or obstacles within the home.
If no capable assistance is available upon arrival, delivery may be limited to curbside or rescheduled.
In Home Delivery (2 Crew Members)
Sit back and relax — we’ve got it handled.
With our full In-Home Delivery (2 Crew Members) service, two trained team members will bring your couch inside, carefully carry it to your desired room, and position it for you.
No lifting required on your end.
Please ensure:
- Clear and safe access to the delivery area
- Accurate measurements of all entry points
- Floors and pathways are prepared for delivery
We prioritize safety for your home and our crew. Items that cannot safely fit due to space limitations may require adjustment to curbside delivery.
Measuring is Your Responsibility
It is your responsibility to confirm that the couch will fit through your doors, hallways, stairs, and elevators. Dimensions are provided in the description or pictures of the item
Delivery Fees
Delivery fees are non-refundable. If a delivery is attempted and is unsuccessful (no one home to receive, didn’t fit, etc.), and a second delivery is needed, another delivery fee will be charged.
Scheduling Delivery
When scheduling a delivery, we generally provide a 1 hour delivery window. Using the phone number you provided at checkout, our delivery driver will send you a text message with his Estimated Time of Arrival when he is on his way.
Inspect on Arrival
Please inspect your couch upon delivery. Any issues or discrepancies should be communicated Immediately so we can address them quickly.
Inclement Weather
All of our couches are transported in an enclosed commercial vehicle out of the weather. In the event of any inclement weather, we will generally still attempt delivery, unless we communicate otherwise. Our priority is keeping your couch clean and dry during delivery.
