We answer questions. If you have questions about delivery, room setup, old couch removal, or measuring your space, we can help before delivery day.
Need your old couch removed? Let us know when we contact you to schedule delivery. In many cases, we can help remove your old couch for an additional fee so your room is ready for the new one.

We want your new couch to be a win from the moment it arrives. Before delivery, please take a few minutes to make sure your couch will fit through your doorway, hallway, staircase, elevator, or any tight turns leading to the room.
Product dimensions are usually listed in the product description or photos. If you are not sure whether something will fit, please contact us before delivery and we will be happy to help you think through it.
- Measure doorways, hallways, stairs, elevators, and room entrances.
- Clear a safe path before the delivery team arrives.
- Move fragile items, rugs, lamps, or anything that could be in the way.
We will always do our best to help, but items that cannot safely fit into the home may need to be left with Standard Garage Delivery or rescheduled after another plan is made.
Friendly delivery reminders
Please make sure someone is home.
Someone must be available during the scheduled delivery window to receive the furniture and confirm placement. If no one is home when our team arrives, a second delivery may need to be scheduled and additional delivery fees may apply.
Delivery fees
Delivery fees are non-refundable once a delivery has been attempted. If a second delivery attempt is needed because no one was home, the item did not fit, or the delivery could not be completed, another delivery fee may apply.
Inspect on arrival
Please inspect your couch at the time of delivery. If something does not look right, let us know right away so we can address it quickly.
Comfort at delivery
We want you to feel completely comfortable ordering from River Oak. When your couch arrives, you will have the opportunity to inspect it before accepting delivery.
If the couch is not what you expected at the time of delivery, you may refuse the furniture and receive a full refund.
For deliveries within Eugene, this includes both the furniture purchase price and the delivery fee.
For deliveries outside of Eugene, the furniture purchase price is refundable, but the delivery fee may not be refundable once the trip has been made.
This guarantee applies at the time of delivery, before the furniture is accepted into the home.

Weather and safe transport
Your furniture is transported in an enclosed commercial vehicle to help keep it clean and protected from the weather.
In most weather conditions, we will still attempt delivery as scheduled. If weather or road conditions make delivery unsafe, we will contact you as soon as possible to make a new plan.
